![]() ![]() This article about the coolest and best zanpakuto has been updated with 5 new entries, improved images, and more up-to-date text. Soul Reapers, Visoreds, and even Zrrancars all use them, and we chose five more zanpakuto that ought to get a little more recognition. Update Jby Louis Kemner: The Bleach series is all about swords, and there are so many cool zanpakuto out there, we decided that a list of ten is too short to demonstrate just how diverse and cool these weapons can be in the anime and manga. The arc introduces the Bounts, immortal humans who consume souls to survive. Some zanpakuto are treated like mere weapons, while others are a true extension of their wielder's true self, adding another dimension the coolest zanpakuto in the story. The Bount Arc is Bleach's first major filler, spanning (episodes 64 to 109). These zanpakuto have meaningful names and powerful shikai and bankai abilities that make for some truly excellent combat scenes throughout Bleach. This is a must buy for all fans.Throughout the Bleach anime, dozens of zanpakuto have been revealed, and the best zanpakuto are iconic of the entire series. Hopefully the series will return and cover the last remaining story arc. Series 16 covers up to volume 54, so there is still plenty more Bleach to sink your teeth into. This may be the end of the Bleach anime but the manga is still going. The new characters are cast well and sound great. Everyone gives they're best performances to make Bleach go out with a bang. The music is just rehash's of previous tracks from the series and movies. The only the final five to ten episodes have decent animation that is actually worth mentioning, as it looks gorgeous and is the best Bleach has ever looked. The animation is average and is the usual Bleach standard. This isn't a bad thing it just gives us a reason to care about the new characters as things are revealed. ![]() If anything it's only Ichigo and the new characters that get any form of character development. Guide to watching Bleach without the pointless filler: Main Arc 1: Soul Society Arc. The characters we already know don't get much development at all, or if anything they do get no development at all. Because of the slow start and a little boring middle, which is just Ichigo training and isn't much of a high point, the final lot of episodes are probably the most epic, exciting, engaging, and off the walls insane episodes of Bleach I've seen. This isn't a bad thing, in fact its really good. I find this season to be a very well thought out season, as it's a bit more complex than "there's a bad guy lets go get him" kind of story in which shows like Naruto, Dragon Ball, and One Piece tend to do. This story arc has an interesting set-up but does take time to get going. There's a one year time skip and all of the characters are reintroduced as well as some new interesting characters being introduced. The story continues from where both season 14 and 15, depending on what previous season you watched last, left off. I've been eagerly awaiting the moment to review the 16th and final season of Bleach for almost a year now, and now the wait is over as I can now voice my opinion on this final season.
